Medicinal Movement
Awareness is everything.
Women and mens bodies are fundamentally different. We have different needs in order to thrive and thus what works for them, often does not work for us. Learn how to nourish yourself through movement, instead of add unnecessary stress and strain. Movement is medicine, but only when we reestablish trust with the body. It is essential to learn how to follow the cues from inside, and to let YOUR body set the pace. So much healing, strength and joy is possible when we begin here.
Embodied Pelvic Care
This work is nourishing for any phase of life and is wonderfully supportive prior to conception, during postpartum, and if you have experienced miscarriage or pregnancy release. If any of your pelvic organs have been removed, their energy imprint remains and absolutely can be tended.
If you are currently going through menopause, or even if you are long past, this work is especially powerful. Simply integrating your menstruating years allows for a deep clearing of congestion from the pelvic bowl. It is never too late to support your womb space. Women are meant to live in cycles and seasons just like mother nature. We are not linear beings and neither is this work. It will meet you wherever you are.
The benefits of working in the pelvic bowl are wide ranging and involve the clearing of congestion. This can be a result of past injuries, postural issues, shifts from pregnancy or birth, and the buildup of emotions such as grief, anger or shame that have not been cleared.
Symptoms of congestion may present as:
Painful or irregular periods
Difficulty conceiving
A sense of heaviness in the pelvis
Pelvic organ prolapse
Chronic pelvic or back pain
Digestive issues
Urinary Incontinence
An especially hard transition through menopause
Fatigue, depression, or anxiety
Lack of sex drive, painful sex, or difficulty reaching orgasm
A dissociative relationship with pleasure in general
Menstruation Attuning involves the process of aligning with the natural rhythm of your menstrual cycle. There is an incredible amount of beauty, power, and medicine that becomes available when we embrace our natural design, rather than trying to alter, fight, suppress or deny its inherent wisdom.

I’ve been exploring different ways of supporting the female body for almost 20 years. My curiosity about human behavior led me to study Psychology in college with a focus in Applied Behavioral Analysis. After graduation I entered the world of fitness and became a Personal Trainer. I taught Pilates, trained with a body builder, healed my knee pain by barefoot running and even dabbled in Muay Thai. I loved working with my clients who were almost exclusively female. Those women were a beautiful gift as their needs (and my own) showed me that something was missing from the linear and reductionist way I was taught to view the mind and the body. Leaving the traditional gym setting, I went on to obtain certifications in Integrative Nutrition, Mind Body Eating Coaching from the Institute for The Psychology of Eating, MOVNAT (evolutionary movement techniques), Transformational Breath Work, herbalism, Usui Reiki, Holistic Pelvic Care™ and Integrative Pelvic Therapy.
Birthing my daughter and becoming a mother gave me a profound window into the power and magic of the female body. At the same time it illuminated how disconnected I had become from my center in order to keep up with the pace of modern life. Journeying into the pelvic bowl restored my connection and showed me how to tend to the female body in a way that more fully honored her.
Supporting women in the discovery of their own wisdom and medicine continues to inspire and amaze me daily. Our bodies are not broken, they know exactly what they need in order to feel vital and expansive. Learning to understand their language is a transformative process.
“Rather than fixing your past, you are changing the energy imprint in your center.”
